We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties without your explicit consent. In general, information you enter on the Site is available to the other persons – whether they are Contacts, Subscribers, staff members or others – to whom you give access to your account or to whom you give access to the information through the normal operation of the Site. ● PAYMENT INFORMATION. We use credit card and other payment information (such as PayPal email addresses) you submit to us on the Site to process payments you make through the Site. We do not store credit card or other payment method information that you provide to us for recurring payment of your account; financial institutions (like PayPal and Authorize.net) have the sole and complete responsibility for the storage of credit card and payment information. ● FORUM. If you post on our forum or blog your username and other information you include is displayed in your postings or comments, and is therefore available to the public. All of your activities in the public areas of the forum will be identifiable to your User ID, and other people can see your published content. ● SERVICE PROVIDERS. At your request, Connectix will provide you with information on your personal data that we manage. As a Connectix User, you will also have the ability to review, update, delete or correct any information related to your account profile through your account settings. You may also contact us to review, update, delete or correct information on your behalf, though we may retain some information as required by law or if it is not technically feasible and/or the burden/expense of doing so would be significantly disproportionate to the risk to your individual privacy.
Upon request Connectix will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. To keep your personal data accurate, current, and complete, please contact us at privacy@Connectix.com. We will take reasonable steps to update or correct and delete personal data in our possession that you have previously submitted. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe. We will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Subscribers for as long as needed to provide services to our Subscribers or for other necessary business functions as required for reporting or retention. Subscribers may request access or deletion of their data at any time. Connectix will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you wish to subscribe to our marketing communications, we will use your name and email address to send communications to you. You may elect to stop receiving our marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in such emails, or you may contact us at privacy@Connectix.com. If you are a contact/customer of one of our Subscribers, please contact that Subscriber directly to handle any disputes.
For those customers of Connectix located in the EU, the UK, or Switzerland, Connectix will provide the opportunity to opt out from: (a) the disclosure of their Personal Data to a non-agent third party; and (b) the use of their Personal Data for purpose(s) that are materially different from the purpose(s) for which the Personal Data was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. Connectix will provide individuals with clear, conspicuous and readily available mechanisms to exercise their choices should such circumstances arise. Individuals who otherwise wish to limit the use or disclosure of their Personal Data should submit their request to privacy@Connectix.com.
We may transfer some personal data to companies that we use to help provide our service. Transfers to those third parties are covered by all provisions in this policy, including those regarding notice and choice, as well as all service agreements between Connectix and it’s Subscribers. In the context of an onward transfer, Connectix has responsibility for the processing of personal information it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Connectix shall remain liable under the Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless the organization proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
